To ALL Football & Cheerleading Parents,

With the Game Schedule now posted on the web site, it is time to sign up for the Volunteer positions for each HOME GAME. Please go to the VOLUNTEER SIGN UP FORM and enter your name and volunteer position for the dates you can volunteer.  Remember it is an obligation of both Football and Cheerleading parents to volunteer as part of their son or daughter participating in H-W Generals Youth Football and Cheerleading. Our first home games are on Sunday 9/20/09 so please sign up ASAP.

The sign ups on the web site are for home games only and do not include volunteer positions for Cheerleading Competitions or the year end Banquet. Those that volunteered for the Cheerleading Competition and Banquet will be called at a later date.

As stated in the Volunteer link, pick a time when your child is not participating in order to be able to watch their game. Information regarding the volunteer positions and arrival times are listed under the sign up section of the Volunteers link.

FIELD SET UP : set up begins 1 hour before the start of JVC and D Games; see the game schedule for arrival times.
JVC Game Volunteers: 1 hour before start of game for set up, 1/2 hour before game time for other volunteer activities.
D Game Volunteers:  1 hour before start of game for set up, 1/2 hour before game time for other volunteer activities.
C Game Volunteers: 1/2 hour before start of game.
A GAME Volunteers: 1/2 before start of game.

FYI - For those new to the program - here is our suggestion: select a time to volunteer that is NOT the same time as your son's/daughter's game - so that you can watch them play/cheer. This really works well!

If you have signed up for a volunteer task, your name will be posted to the volunteer schedule; usually within a day.
