What does "Full Uniform" Mean??...
1. Generals Cheering Vest with a navy blue bodysuit underneath it. The alternative option for under your vest on "hot" days is a PLAIN WHITE tank top that is long enough to cover your stomache.
2. Navy blue boyshorts to wear under your skirt and over your bodysuit
3. Generals Cheering Skirt
4. Clean Cheering Sneakers with cheering socks
5. Hair up neatly with your BOW. High Ponytails or French Braids are the hairstyles of choice , however if your hair isn't long enough then simply pulling it back away from your face is fine.
6. Smiles!!!!
***GENERAL UNIFORM INFORMATION***
Once your child has registered for cheerleading they will be informed of when the uniform fitting night is. This is usually done at the end of the school year in June.
Uniform Fitting Night is a night that consists of two elements:
1. Your child will be fitted for the vest and skirt part of their uniform by coaches and parents of H-W Youth Cheerleading. The vests and skirts belong to the H-W Youth Football Cheerleading program and are returned to the program at the end of the season. The Cheerleading program will also provide your child with a bow which DOES NOT have to be returned to the program.
2. Your child will also be fitted for the other required items for their uniform that will need to be PURCHASED. These items will be sold and sized from an outside vendor (NEATco) during Uniform Fitting Night (This general pkg runs approx. $67, but is subject to change with the vendor.)
a. Cheer sneakers
b. Cheer socks
c. Navy blue bodysuit (worn under vest)
d. Navy blue boyshorts(worn under skirt and over bodysuit)
There are other items available to purchase on this night such as warm-up pants ,jackets, bags etc. These items are NOT required , but recommended.
