CHEERLEADING COMPETITION WILL BE SATURDAY NOVEMBER 12,2011 AT MARBLEHEAD HIGHSCHOOL,, times: TBD

General Information About Competition:

     At the "end" of every season the Youth Cheerleaders are involved in the CAYFL Cheerleading Competition. This competition is held in doors at one of the schools in our league and performed on a large 42x42 mat. The A, C and D squads complete a routine (2min 30seconds) and are judged on spirit, tumbling,stunts, cheers etc.... We are only allowed to take 25 girls per squad to competition. Our policy is to take the first 25 girls that register for each squad . If we have reached our max, then the girls that sign up after we have reached this point will be "alternates" for the competition. They will learn the routine and still be part of the squad in every way, they will go to the competition with their squad , but won't perform for the 2:30 routine. If issues arise and there is a cheerleader that is on the competition squad , but has been missing practices, games etc.. then the Coach and the Director of Cheerleading  have the right to replace that cheerleader with an "alternate". Parents will be informed of all changes. 

     More specific information will be given to the cheerleaders about competition as the season progresses.
